Remarkable Fast Recovery After Surgery: My Healing Journey

Well, it has been 2½ weeks since surgery. Healing has been fast. Doctors are puzzled by the fast recovery I am having. I have been without pain since the second day after surgery and have not been taking pain medications. I have also had my JP drain removed, and I have been cleared to resume normal life, except for lifting or moving more than 10 lbs.
I researched and read the accounts of many who have had surgery like mine. It seems that at this point it should take 6 weeks for the pain to subside, and 6 weeks before I can sit. In my case I have been pain-free and sitting with minimal issues since day three.
I have also found that if you keep moving no matter what, you will get motion back into your life. “Things in motion tend to stay in motion. Things at rest will stay at rest.” I live by this motto, and by the motto “Dreams are meant to bleed for.” This means you need to work for the things you want.
When I get closer to week 6, I will share all my tricks. I will detail how I kept myself going during these hard times.
