Mild Turkey Meatballs with Plain Pasta

Ground poultry is generally very well tolerated. Skipping the heavy tomato sauce is intentional, as tomatoes and acidic sauces are notorious for causing irritation.

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Mix ground turkey with a little salt and a tiny pinch of dried oregano (if you tolerate herbs). Roll into small meatballs and bake on a parchment-lined tray for about 20 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

  3. Boil plain, white-flour pasta until soft.

  4. Toss the hot pasta and meatballs with a light drizzle of olive oil or a splash of warm chicken broth to keep it moist and flavorful.
